YuXin Little Magic 10x10x10 is part of the budget Little Magic series. YuXin has been making big cubes for years, and the Little Magic 10x10 is a sensible way to try solving a 10x10 cube without spending a lot of money on your first puzzle this big.

How it turns

The cube has a light, "airy" feel, typical of the Little Magic series. Turning is smooth right out of the box, and users point out how evenly all the layers move, both outer and inner. Layer alignment is decent, although with this many layers you need to turn precisely, especially during faster solves. There are no magnets, so the layers don't stop on their own and more depends on your finger control.

At 746 g and a 105 mm edge, the cube is large and fairly heavy. Some people find it harder to hold if they have smaller hands. If you plan long sessions, keep this in mind.

Look and adjustment

The stickerless bright version has vivid plastic colors. The internals are colored (primary internals), so no white plastic shows between the pieces. Tension is adjusted with screws, which on cubes of this size lets you set it looser or tighter, depending on how you want it to behave.

Who is it for?

The Little Magic 10x10 is a cube for people who have already mastered the 4x4 and 5x5 and want to move on to a truly big size. It also works well as a more affordable 10x10 for your collection. The 10x10 is not a WCA event, so it's not a cube you buy with official competitions in mind. It's a cube for training patience, practicing the reduction method and solving for fun. For a child's first cube, it's better to choose a smaller size.
