Blank Center Cap for Vin Cube 4x4 UV Coated is a white center cap without a logo, designed for the UV Coated version of the Vin Cube 4x4. You fit it in place of the factory center cap with the Vin Cube logo. It has no effect on the mechanism or the feel of the cube; only the look of one center changes.

What it's useful for

• 4BLD. On a 4x4, centers move around, and the logo makes one of them look different from the others. In blindfolded solving, many people prefer all centers of a given color to be identical.
• Your own logo. You can put your own sticker on the plain cap, e.g. a club logo or your personal mark.
• Looks. For anyone who simply prefers a cube without the manufacturer's print.
• Spare part. Handy if the original cap has been lost or damaged.

Compatibility with Vin Cube 4x4

The cap is designed for the first generation of the Vin Cube 4x4 UV Coated, a 4x4 of about 60 mm designed by Haixu Zhang, former 4x4 world record holder. In terms of construction, this cube is a development of the YJ MGC 4x4.

We have not confirmed whether the cap fits the newer Vin 4x4 V2 series (Apex, Surge, Sprint). That is a new design with a smaller size of 58 mm, so don't assume the parts are interchangeable. We are also not sure about the version without the UV coating. If you have a version other than the Vin Cube 4x4 UV, first check what the center cap on your cube looks like.

Installation

Carefully pry off the factory logo cap with your fingernail or a thin, flat tool. Press the new one into its place until it snaps into the slot. You don't need to take the cube apart or change its settings. Don't use much force when prying, as it's easy to scratch the plastic around the center.
