From a distance it looks like an ordinary cube, but in your hands it behaves completely differently from a 3x3 cube. In the Manish Cubo-Copter X-Plus from Calvins Puzzle, every face is divided into a dense grid of curved and angular pieces, a geometry known as jumble-cut. The puzzle was designed by Manish and is produced by Calvins Puzzle under its own brand. We offer the version with a black body and Jumble stickers.

How to solve the Cubo-Copter X-Plus

Because of the jumble-cut geometry, pieces move between faces in irregular ways. Methods you know from the 3x3, the Megaminx or other typical twisty puzzles won't be enough here. You'll have to work out for yourself what each move does to the pieces and often build your own sequences. This isn't a puzzle for timed solves. It's one you sit down with for a long session and work through step by step.

Jumble stickers

In the version with Jumble Stickers, selected pieces have extra markings that show their orientation. On such a complex puzzle, the face colour alone doesn't always tell you whether everything is in place. The markings let you check whether the puzzle is truly fully solved.

Who is it for?

For those who have already mastered NxN cubes, the Megaminx, Skewb or Pyraminx and are looking for a puzzle with a completely different kind of difficulty. Collectors will like it too: it's a niche design from an independent creator that clearly stands out on the shelf. It's not suitable as a first cube, including for children. It's better to start with a classic 3x3 and come back to the Cubo-Copter once standard puzzles stop being a challenge.
