How they turn

Solar cubes are inexpensive magnetic models, not flagships. Small magnets in the edges and corners help each layer settle into place, so clean turns are easier than on a cube without magnets. According to user reviews, the magnets are rather weak, and straight out of the box the cubes turn fast and light but are not especially stable. Because of this, less precise moves can end in overshooting. Slightly tightening the screws and adding some lube usually helps. After this kind of setup, the cubes behave much more predictably.
