DianSheng Galaxy 5x5 Magnetic Mirror Cube is a magnetic 5x5 mirror cube. It has the same mechanism as a regular 5x5, but the pieces differ in thickness rather than colour. Once scrambled, the cube loses its cube shape and turns into a block with protruding and recessed pieces. Solving it means restoring its shape. Mirror 5x5 vs. a regular 5x5

The moves and algorithms are the same as on a 5x5 cube, so knowing the reduction method helps a lot. Recognising the pieces takes the most time. All faces are the same colour, and the differences in thickness can be small. This makes it harder to find matching edges and centers and easier to make a mistake when pairing.
