DianSheng Googol Giant 3x3x3 is a classic 3x3 cube, just very big. Its edge is approx. 34.8 cm, which makes it more than six times larger than a standard speedcube with a 5.6 cm edge. It weighs approx. 3.2 kg. It belongs to the Googol series, DianSheng's line of enlarged 3x3 cubes. It is one of the largest mass-produced 3x3 models, sold mainly as an eye-catching display piece and a cube to solve for fun.

What solving a giant 3x3 cube is like

You turn it just like a regular 3x3, and the colour scheme is standard. Anyone who knows any solving method can solve it without learning anything new. The hand work, however, is different. At this size and weight, fingertricks and high TPS are out of the question. The most comfortable way is to put the cube on a table and turn the layers with both hands. Users point out that it turns smoothly for its size. Some of them lube it generously to make turning lighter. The cube has no magnets, so the layers don't snap into place on their own and you need to align them more carefully.

Colour versions

The cube is stickerless, which means the colours are in the plastic, with no stickers. Two versions are available:

• Stickerless Bright: classic, vivid colours,
• Macaron: pastel, lighter shades.

For collectors who want a unique display piece on their shelf, and for shops, schools or clubs. It also makes a great gift for someone who already solves cubes and has standard models in their collection. It looks great at shows and events, because you can see it from far away. This is not a cube for practice or competitions. Keep its size and weight in mind as well: at 3.2 kg, younger children will usually solve it on a table or with an adult's help. If you want a big cube you can still hold comfortably in your hands, the smaller models from the Googol series are a better choice.
