Fanxin Dinosaur Cube Bundle 2

Fanxin Dinosaur Cube Bundle 2 is a set of three dinosaur-shaped puzzles. Each one is a 2x2x3 shape mod, a cuboid whose shape has been turned into an animal figure. Fanxin released six dinosaurs in this series. Bundle 2 is the second trio and complements the first set. In our shop, the set comes in the Stickerless Bright colour scheme, without stickers.

How it solves

All three dinosaurs share the same 2x2x3 mechanism, so you solve them with the same method. The top and bottom layers turn by 90°, while the side faces turn only by 180°. When the figure is scrambled, it loses its dinosaur shape, and your goal is to restore it. The difficulty doesn't come from the mechanism itself but from recognising the pieces. Backs, tails and heads hide the layer structure, so it's easy to get confused even if you know the algorithms for a regular cuboid. Each dinosaur has a different shape, so with each of the three you have to "reset" your recognition from scratch.

Mechanism and feel

The puzzles have no magnets and no tension adjustment system. Users say they turn lightly and aren't prone to popping, but these are not speedsolving cubes. What matters here is the shape and the fun, not TPS. Many people buy them for kids, who also play with them like regular figures.

The set makes sense for several groups:
