Fingerboard + Mini Skatepark: what's in the set

The set includes two fingerboards and a small skatepark to assemble, so you get everything you need for your first tricks. The boards are ready to ride straight out of the box, and you can set up the park on a desk, a table or the floor. Each set comes with a different pair of board graphics. Graphics are shipped at random, so you can't choose a specific design.

Build-your-own skatepark

The skatepark is made of plastic and consists of several smaller segments. Each segment has slots for the plastic rods that connect the parts. This means you don't have to place the pieces in the same spot every time. You can connect them in a different order and arrange them in several ways, creating different obstacle layouts. When you get bored with one setup, just take the park apart and build it again from scratch.

Fingerboards

The boards are made of plastic, with some metal parts. The fingerboard is a scale replica of a regular skateboard at approx. 1:8 and is approx. 9 cm long. The top is covered with a rough, sandpaper-like layer, the equivalent of grip tape on a full-size board. It keeps your fingers from slipping and makes it easier to stay in control of the board during ollies and flips.

What is fingerboarding?

A fingerboard is a miniature skateboard that you control with two fingers. You can do the same tricks on it that skaters perform on full-size boards: ollies, kickflips, grinds or ramp drops. Over time, this toy has grown into a hobby of its own with its own community. To get started, all you need are some simple moves and a bit of patience. More complex tricks take quite a lot of practice.

Who is it for?

The set is a good choice if you want to find out whether you'll enjoy fingerboarding and don't want to buy a board and obstacles separately. With two boards included, two people can ride together, for example siblings or friends. It's beginner gear for having fun at home. People who get more serious about fingerboarding usually move on to wooden boards and more elaborate obstacles later.
