A small 3x3 cube you can clip onto your keys or backpack, released by GAN to celebrate the brand's 10th anniversary. The GAN 330 Keychain 10th Anniversary has the same mechanism as the standard GAN 330 keychain. The only difference is the look: the pieces are made of transparent coloured plastic, and the cube comes in a special commemorative box. The keychain is about 3 cm per side, but inside it's not just a gadget. It's a scaled-down speedcube.

What's inside

The pieces have GAN's signature honeycomb texture on the contact surfaces, familiar from the brand's full-size models. The cube has no magnets and no GES system. It's still a miniature, so it's hard to compare it with a 56 mm flagship. Even so, it turns smoothly and performs very well for its size. Users point out in reviews that lockups and popping are rare, even when turning faster.

With such a small cube, keep in mind that your fingers have less room and timed solving isn't comfortable. The keychain is great for turning on the go or while waiting in line, but not for practice.

10th Anniversary version vs. standard GAN 330

The mechanism and size are the same. The anniversary edition has transparent coloured pieces (instead of the standard solid colours) and a special box designed for GAN's 10th anniversary. If you just want a keychain to turn, the standard version is enough. The Anniversary version makes sense if you collect GAN cubes or want a complete set with other products from the anniversary series.
