GAN Blue Box Bundle 1

GAN Blue Box Bundle 1

GAN Blue Box Bundle 1 is an official GAN gift set. The cubes come packed in a rigid blue box with an embossed logo. This set isn't meant as gear for someone chasing records. It's a simple way to give someone two GAN cubes in packaging that's ready to hand over as a gift straight away. This version contains the GAN11 Air 3x3 cube and the miniature GAN330 Keychain cube. Both come in the stickerless bright colour scheme, which means no stickers, just coloured plastic.

What's in the box

• GAN11 Air 3x3: a cube from the GAN11 series in the Air version. It's a lighter and more affordable alternative to the GAN11 M and GAN11 M Pro models. It's great for everyday practice and for learning to solve faster.
• GAN330 Keychain 3x3: a small 3x3 cube with a keyring attachment. You can clip it to your keys or backpack. You can solve it like a normal cube, but because of its size it's more of a gadget than a cube for timed solves.

Blue Box vs. other GAN sets

GAN has released the Blue Box in several configurations. They differ in what's inside, not in the box itself. Bundle 1 is the simplest variant: one full-size 3x3 cube and a keychain. Other versions include, for example, a 2x2, a 4x4 or a GAN Mirror, as well as magnetic M models. If the person you're buying for already does timed solves and wants a cube with magnets, it's better to look at the sets with the GAN11 M or buy a magnetic cube separately.

Who is it for?

This set makes a great gift for a child or teenager who is just getting started with cubes. It also suits someone who solves casually and wants a branded 3x3 instead of a random supermarket cube. As a parent, you don't need to know anything about speedcubing: inside you'll find a cube from one of the leading manufacturers plus a small extra, and the whole thing looks great right out of the package. An advanced speedcuber will usually choose a specific flagship model with tension adjustment and magnets.
