GAN Blue Box Bundle 2 is a GAN set with two cubes: the GAN 11 Air 3x3 and the GAN 251 V2 2x2. Both are non-magnetic, come in the stickerless bright version and have tension adjustment. Cubes without magnets: what it means in practice

Most modern speedcubes have magnets. They help a layer settle into place after a turn, so the cube "aligns itself". In a non-magnetic cube this doesn't happen. Turning is lighter and more free, but you need to finish each turn more precisely with your fingers, otherwise lockups happen more easily. Some people like this feel because the cube is light and offers no resistance. Others prefer magnets because they give more stability at higher TPS.

Both cubes let you adjust the tension, so you can set them up to suit you: looser if you want faster turning and better corner cutting, or tighter if you prefer more control.

Who is it for?

This set makes the most sense as a gift or as the first two "real" cubes for someone who wants to start with a 3x3 and try a 2x2 right away. It also suits cubers who enjoy the non-magnetic feel or collect GAN cubes and want the Blue Box.
