The GAN display stand is made for smart 3x3 cubes, the cubes that connect to an app. Your cube sits securely on it instead of lying loose on your desk next to a charger or phone. You can also spin the cube while it is on the stand. This version is designed for GAN smart cubes and is available in white.

How the GAN stand works

The stand holds the cube from below and has two modes:

• Locked: the cube rotates on the stand in 45-degree steps.
• Unlocked: the cube spins freely after a light push with your finger.

Locked mode is handy when you want the cube to face forward with one side, for example on a collection shelf. Unlocked mode is more of a fidget gadget that many people spin between solves. The bottom of the stand has adhesive tape, so you can stick it permanently to a desk, shelf or any other flat surface. If you don't want to stick anything, you don't have to remove the protective film, as the stand stays steady without it too.

Smart cube version or standard version?

GAN makes this stand in two versions. The version described on this page fits GAN smart 3x3 cubes. The manufacturer and distributors list, among others, the GAN 356 i, GAN 356 i Carry, GAN i3 and GAN iPlay. For a regular magnetic speedcube (e.g. GAN 15 MagLev, GAN 16 or another 56 mm model), it's better to choose the version for standard cubes. Before buying, make sure you know which cube you want to put on the stand.

Who is it for?

Mainly for owners of GAN smart cubes who want a permanent spot for them on their desk. The stand doesn't change anything about solving itself. It's an accessory for storage and display, and also an affordable add-on to a smart cube gift for a child or for yourself.
