GAN Display Stand is a rotating stand for displaying a 3x3 cube. Your cube doesn't just sit loosely on it, as it would on a regular triangular stand. It attaches to a rotating piece on top of the stand, and the base can be stuck to your desk, shelf or table. This version is designed for standard GAN 3x3 cubes, i.e. models without smart features. GAN makes a separate version for smart cubes.

Two rotation modes

The stand has two modes, which you switch with a slider:

• Free spin: the cube spins on the stand after a light push with your finger. Many people use it as a small desk fidget.
• Lock: the cube holds its position and rotates in 45-degree steps. This mode comes in handy when you want the cube to always face the same side forward, e.g. on a collection shelf.

Mounting and compatibility

The bottom of the stand has adhesive tape that sticks to a flat surface, so the stand doesn't slide around when you spin the cube. The cube is held firmly and shouldn't fall off on its own. GAN designed this stand for its own non-smart 3x3 cubes, so it will most reliably fit cubes from this brand. If you want to put a cube from another manufacturer on it, check before buying whether the mount will fit it.
