GAN Mini M Pro 3x3 UV: a full-fledged GAN flagship in a 53 mm size

A standard 3x3 cube is usually about 56 mm. The GAN Mini M Pro 3x3 UV is 3 mm smaller, and that is enough to make it feel noticeably different in your hand than full-size cubes. The mechanism and adjustment system come from the GAN 11 M Pro family, so there is no compromise in the form of a simplified design. You get GAN's flagship features in a smaller size. The cube is legal for official competitions.

How it turns

Users compare its performance to the GAN 11 M Pro: good corner cutting and the light, fast turning typical of GAN. At 57 g the cube is lightweight, and its small size makes quick finger moves easier, especially in one-handed solving. Some people point out that out of the box the magnets feel quite strong and the mechanism can be slightly catchy. Adjusting the settings and lubing it usually helps. If you have large hands, you may need a moment to get used to the smaller size.

Magnets and GES Pro+ adjustment

The cube uses an edge-corner magnet system and a magnetic core (64 magnets in total, according to the manufacturer). The magnet strength can be adjusted across 7 levels. You can choose between two types of interchangeable magnets and 3 corner magnet settings, and with the inserts removed the cube works without magnets. The GES Pro+ system offers 4 levels of center travel (compression) and 4 levels of tensioning, giving 16 setting combinations.

UV version

This version has a thin outer layer of UV-cured coating. The surface is glossy and feels a little different under your fingers than regular plastic. The coating is also meant to protect the pieces from external wear. The mechanism is the same as in the non-UV version.

Who is it for?

For one-handed solvers, cubers with smaller hands and anyone who wants a fully adjustable cube in a compact size. For a child's first cube, a simpler model is usually enough. The wide range of adjustment makes the most sense for someone who knows what setup they like.
