MoFangGe M-1 Lube is a thin, water-based lube from QiYi (MoFangGe) that makes your cube faster. It reduces friction between the pieces so the layers turn lighter and faster. It's the same type of lube as Maru, Z-lube or X-lube. It's a good choice if you want to loosen up a stiff cube or bring back the speed of one that has slowed down over time.

How it affects your cube

M-1 has medium-low viscosity, so it easily gets between the pieces. Your cube becomes faster and lighter almost immediately after applying it, without a long break-in period. That's why it works well in new cubes that are still stiff out of the box. It also helps if you prefer fast, responsive turning. Apply the lube to the pieces of the cube. 2-3 drops are usually enough for one application. The bottle has a thin tip that makes it easy to dispense small amounts.

Water-based or silicone lube?

Water-based lube works fast, but it lasts shorter than thicker silicone lubes. After a while you'll need to reapply it. This is normal for a thin lube and is not a product defect. If your cube is already too fast and you lack control, a thicker silicone lube is the better choice: it slows down the turning and gives a more controllable feel. In practice, many cubers use both types: a thin lube for speed and a thicker one for stability and control.
