MoFangGe M-2 Lube

MoFangGe M-2 Lube

A thick silicone lube from QiYi MoFangGe, used when you want to slow your cube down. MoFangGe M-2 Lube comes in handy when your cube turns too lightly, overshoots easily during fast turning or simply lacks control. Once applied, the layers turn a little slower and noticeably smoother, and the feel becomes more smooth and "controlled".

How M-2 lube works

Silicone lube works differently from fast water-based lubes. M-2 doesn't speed your cube up. It slows it down a little and makes it quieter. In practice, it's easier to stop a layer exactly where you need it. This is especially useful for cubes that are very fast out of the box and for cubers who prefer a controllable feel. Silicone dries slowly, so the effect lasts longer than with lighter lubes.

This lube won't make your cube faster. Too much M-2 can make it feel sluggish. If you want your cube to be faster and lighter, choose a low-viscosity lube.

M-2 or M-1?

The same series also includes MoFangGe M-1, a water-based lube with medium-low viscosity. It works the opposite way: it gives your cube light, fast turning. Choose M-2 if you want to slow your cube down and have more control over it. Choose M-1 if speed is what matters to you.

How to use

Gently pull two pieces apart and apply 1-3 drops of lube inside. Then turn the cube for a while so the lube spreads evenly. It's better to start with less and add more if needed, as excess thick lube is hard to remove afterwards. The lube is safe for skin contact, but must not be swallowed. Keep the bottle away from small children.
