A factory-magnetized MoFangGe 2x2 from the WuXia series. Deep grooves in the mechanism give very good corner cutting, and the magnets, set at a medium distance, provide a light double click. The feel is soft, and the tension is adjusted with screws.

MoFangGe WuXia 2x2x2 M

MoFangGe WuXia 2x2x2 M is the factory-magnetized version of the WuXia 2x2 from MoFangGe, a brand of QiYi. It belongs to the "Wu" series, which also includes other cubes from this manufacturer. The WuXia M was one of the first 2x2 cubes with factory-installed magnets, so you don't have to magnetize it yourself. The magnets sit in separate slots, which helps keep them in place.

How it turns

The mechanism has deep grooves on both the outer and inner sides of the pieces, which gives it very good corner cutting. The cube completes a turn even when the layer isn't perfectly aligned. The pieces are heavily rounded and the contact area between them is reduced, so the feel is rather soft. This has a downside: with looser tension the cube may pop, so for aggressive turning it's better to tighten it a little.

The magnets are set at a medium distance from each other. They give a light double click that helps you feel the layer alignment without slowing the cube down. The manufacturer has also included a feature designed to reduce corner twisting.

Tension adjustment

Tension is set with adjustment screws. The setting decides whether the cube is faster and more forgiving, or more stable and less prone to popping.

Who is it for?

The WuXia M is a good fit for anyone who wants a magnetic 2x2 cube for regular practice. It can be someone moving on from their first 2x2, but also a cuber who likes a soft feel and good cutting. If you're looking for a very hard, stiff 2x2, you may find it too soft. The cube is legal for official competitions.

PRZYJEMNOŚĆ z układania na tej kostce jest największa w porównaniu z układaniem na innych moich "dwójkach". Magnesy są super - nie za mocne, nie za słabe. Jedyny...hmm... czy ja wiem czy minus... kostka jest dość głośna ale i tak warta swojej ceny. Z czystym sumieniem POLECAM

Kostka jest niesamowita. Chodzi bardzo płynnie spokojnie ścina zakręty 45 stopni jest cicha. Na pewno jest ona warta swojej ceny. I śmiało moge powiedzieć żę jest to jedna z najlepszych jeżeli nie najlepsza kość 2x2. POLECAM

Nie jest najszybsza co wdłg mnie dobrze wpływa na kontrolę kostki , również magnesy stabilizują ją dzięki czemu jest fenomenalną kostką dla początkujących jak i dla bardziej wymagających układaczy. 100% warta ceny ;)

Kiedy kupiłem tę kostkę moje czasy z 2x2 poprawiły się o pół sekundy! Bardzo dobrze chodzi lecz czasami zdarzają się locki, drobniejsze popy oraz czasami rolling popy. Głównie przez locki postanowiłem zmienić kostkę na inną, lecz to i tak świetna kostka.
