MoreTry Cube Lube No.3 Slower

MoreTry Cube Lube No.3 Slower is a cube lube designed to slow your turning down. Most lubes on the market make a cube faster, but this one does the opposite. It comes in handy when your cube feels too fast, tends to overshoot or is hard to control at higher TPS. It's the heaviest of the three lubes in the MoreTry series. Available in two sizes: 5 ml and 10 ml.

The MoreTry series: No.1, No.2 and No.3

MoreTry offers three lubes, and each one changes how your cube performs in a different way:

• No.1 Faster is a light lube that speeds your cube up.
• No.2 Smoother is a medium lube. It gives smoother turning but doesn't speed the cube up as much as No.1.
• No.3 Slower is the heaviest lube in the series. It slows the turning down and gives you more control.

If you're not sure which one to choose, start by asking yourself what bothers you about your cube. If it's too slow or feels "dry", choose No.1. If you simply want smoother turning, choose No.2. If your cube is too fast or you want to calm it down, choose No.3.

When a slower lube is useful

A slower lube is especially useful for light, very fast cubes that overshoot the layer when you turn harder. It's also a good fit if you prefer a controllable feeling over maximum speed. A heavier lube reduces the tendency to overshoot and makes the cube more predictable. The trade-off is slower turning. If you're after the highest possible TPS, No.3 won't be a good choice for lubing the whole cube.

Heavy lubes are usually best applied sparingly. Too much lube can make your cube feel heavy and "sticky". That's why it's best to start with a small amount and add a little more if needed. The lube spreads well after a few minutes of turning. You can also mix the slower lube with a faster one, e.g. No.1, to tune the feeling to your liking.

5 ml or 10 ml?

The lube works the same in both versions; only the amount differs. A 5 ml bottle is enough to find out whether a slower feeling suits you. The 10 ml version is for those who regularly lube several cubes.
