MoreTry is a small Chinese speedcube brand. It was founded by a former YJ designer, and the company's debut was the Tianma X3 3x3 cube, released in 2022. The brand doesn't have as wide a range as MoYu, GAN or QiYi. It focuses on one series of 3x3 cubes, available in many variants, and on cube lubes.
From the start, the Tianma X3 was sold in several versions that differ mainly in their magnet setup: from the Single with 48 magnets, through the Double and Triple with additional magnets in the edge torpedoes and corner feet, to the Super with MagLev instead of springs. This lets you pick the cube that suits your style: lighter, freer turning or layers that "snap" into place more firmly. In the hand, the Tianma feels similar to MoYu designs. Cubers praise it for fast turning and good corner cutting, especially forward, while the downside they mention is that it's fairly loud.
Spring-based Tianma cubes have separate compression adjustment (9 levels) and tension adjustment. In the Super versions, tension is set by the MagLev magnets.
The Tianma X3 Single and Double are an affordable way to get your first magnetic 3x3 cube, especially if you like light, fast turning. The Triple and Full Magnetic versions are a better fit for cubers who need more stability at higher TPS. Keep in mind that the cubes often come set up loose out of the box, so it's worth tightening the tension right away. MoreTry lubes are useful for anyone who wants to change the feel of their cube, whatever its brand.
