MoreTry Tianma X3+ Triple Magnetic UV Coated

The Tianma X3+ series from MoreTry comes in several versions that differ mainly in their magnet setup. MoreTry Tianma X3+ Triple Magnetic UV Coated is a 3x3 cube with a triple magnet system, a classic spring mechanism (no MagLev) and a glossy UV coating. In our shop it is available in the stickerless bright colour scheme.

How it turns

The Tianma X3+ is an improved version of the original X3. The molds are more precise, so the cube turns more quietly and more predictably. The magnets sit in capsules that are easier to install and replace. Users describe the X3+ as a light, fast cube with very good corner cutting and reverse corner cutting. Versions with the weakest magnet set can sometimes overshoot. In the Triple Magnetic variant, the extra magnets give stronger help with alignment and clearer feedback. This makes the cube more stable while turning and easier to control at high TPS.

Triple Magnetic and UV coating

• Triple magnet system. On top of the standard magnets, there are additional magnet sets inside the cube. Compared with the Single and Dual versions, the feel is more "tight and controlled", but the cube is not as heavy as the top-of-the-line Full Magnetic version.
• Springs instead of MagLev. Tension is held by classic springs. This setup usually gives a slightly more controllable feel than magnetic levitation.
• UV Coated. The glossy coating grips your fingers better than matte (frosted) plastic and is more resistant to scratches and wear.

Which Tianma X3+ version should you choose?

The Single and Dual Magnetic versions are lighter and "looser", so they suit people who like fast turning with little resistance. The Full Magnetic version has four magnet sets, 118 magnets in total, and gives the strongest feel in the series. Triple Magnetic sits between them: it offers noticeably more stability than the basic versions, but its magnets are not as strong as in the Full Magnetic. The UV version differs from the Triple Magnetic Frosted only in its surface finish.

Who is it for?

For cubers looking for a fast 3x3 cube with more stable behaviour than the basic Tianma versions. It is also a great choice if you prefer a smooth, grippy UV surface over matte plastic. If you are just starting out, a simpler magnetic version will serve you perfectly well at first.
