In the Tianma X3+ series, this is the version with the most magnets. The MoreTry Tianma X3+ Full Magnetic UV is a spring-tensioned 3x3 magnetic cube with four sets of positioning magnets (118 magnets in total) and a glossy UV coating. It comes in a stickerless bright colour scheme.

How it turns

Among cubers, the Tianma X3 and X3+ series have a reputation as fast cubes with good corner cutting, especially forward. The feel is fairly distinct and slightly crunchy rather than soft. The Full Magnetic version has more magnets than the Single, Double and Triple variants, so the layers should "snap" into place more clearly and the cube itself should feel more stable during fast turning. This also makes it less "loose" than the lightest variants. If you like a very light, free-turning feel, you may prefer a less magnetic version.

The UV coating is smooth and glossy and gives a firmer grip in your hands than matte plastic. The Single, Double and Triple variants have a frosted finish.

Full Magnetic vs. other X3+ versions

The Tianma X3+ versions differ mainly in the number of magnet sets and the finish:

• Single / Double / Triple Magnetic: one, two and three sets of magnets respectively, springs, frosted surface.
• Full Magnetic UV: four sets, 118 magnets, springs, UV coating.
• Super-MagLev: MagLev instead of springs, i.e. tension based on repelling magnets.

The Full Magnetic does not have MagLev. Classic springs usually give more predictable, controllable behaviour. MagLev is generally lighter and quieter when turning.

Who is it for?

For cubers looking for a fast 3x3 cube with clear magnetic layer guidance and a UV coating, without paying for flagship models from the biggest brands. It works well if you like more magnets and stability. If you are looking for a very soft, quiet cube, it may not suit you. For beginners, the cheaper Single or Double version from the same series is usually enough.
