A classic 3x3 cube, only with an edge length of 180 mm, roughly three times larger than a typical 56 mm speed cube. The MoYu 18cm 3x3 Fitness Cube weighs approx. 840 g. It is not suitable for speedsolving. This is a big 3x3 for solving with both hands, for your desk, for demonstrations or as a gift for someone who already owns a few regular cubes.

What solving a big 3x3 cube is like

At this size, you don't turn the cube with your fingers. You turn the layers with your whole hands, and a single piece measures about 6 cm. What matters here is a comfortable grip and how well the layers align, while TPS and corner cutting no longer play a role. The name "Fitness" suits this cube well. At 840 g, your arms really get a workout, especially in a longer session, and the size itself makes it easy to hold in both hands.

The algorithms are exactly the same as on a regular 3x3, so any method you know works here without changes. The large pieces are easy to see, which makes the cube useful for showing algorithms to other people, e.g. in cubing classes or when teaching a child.
