MoYu Cube Chair (40 cm)

MoYu Cube Chair is one of the largest mass-produced 3x3 cubes in the world. Each side measures 40 cm, and the whole cube weighs about 4.6 kg. It's not a dummy or a decoration: it's a fully functional 3x3 cube that you solve exactly like a regular one, just with both hands. And as the name suggests, you can also sit on it.

A cube you can sit on

The mechanism and the walls have been reinforced so the cube can support the weight of a seated person. The manufacturer shows it holding a 100 kg load, but we recommend not exceeding about 90 kg. Align the layers before you sit down, and don't turn the cube while someone is sitting on it. It makes a great seat for kids in their room, in a classroom or at a cubing club, and in a moment it turns into the biggest brain-teaser toy in the house.

How does it turn?

For a cube this size, the layers turn surprisingly smoothly, and it is quite forgiving of imprecise moves. It has no magnets, so after each turn it's worth aligning the layer before you make the next move. Never force the pieces: if something gets stuck, undo the move and align the faces. Of course, this isn't a cube for breaking records, but it works great for demonstrations and for learning to solve, because every move can be seen from far away.

Stickerless Bright version

The colours aren't stickers but the coloured plastic itself, so nothing peels off or wears away, even when the cube is used as a seat. The shades are bright and clear, so the faces are easy to tell apart.
