MoYu 55mm Cube Stand

MoYu 55mm Cube Stand – stand for a 3x3 cube

MoYu 55mm Cube Stand is a simple plastic stand for a standard-size 3x3 cube. MoYu sells it as a stand from the Globe series. The cube sits on one of its corners, so you can see three faces at once on a shelf or desk. It looks great in a collection, and your cube doesn't lie directly on the surface. In our shop, the stand is available in black.

Which cubes fit the stand?

The stand is designed for cubes with an edge length of about 55.5-56 mm. This is the typical size of most modern 3x3 speed cubes. It also fits other cube-shaped puzzles of a similar size, e.g. Skewb, Windmill or Fisher, as long as their dimensions are close. With very small 3x3 cubes, e.g. 50 mm, the cube may sit too loosely in the stand. Larger cubes may not fit at all.

MoYu makes this stand in several sizes, each for a different cube size:

• 2x2 version: cubes of approx. 50 mm,
• 3x3 version: cubes of approx. 55.5 mm (this product),
• 4x4 version: cubes of approx. 58 mm,
• 5x5 version: cubes of approx. 60 mm.

If you have a larger collection, it's best to choose the stand based on the size of the specific cube rather than its type. Some 4x4 cubes are closer in size to a 3x3, and vice versa.

What it's good for

The stand doesn't affect how the cube turns. It's an accessory for storage and display. It comes in handy when you want to nicely display your main cube or several cubes on a shelf. It also works well as a small add-on to a cube gift, as it's light and takes up little space. The black colour goes well with both stickerless cubes and cubes with a black body.
