MoYu Cube Robot Box for 4x4 5x5

Cube Robot Box for 4x4 5x5 MoFangJiaoShi

Cube Robot Box for 4x4 5x5 is a robot-shaped cube box. It is made by MoFangJiaoShi (Cubing Classroom), a brand owned by MoYu. You put a 4x4 or 5x5 cube inside, and the whole thing looks like a small figure you can place on a shelf or desk. We sell this product in white. No cube is included in the set, you get the box only.

How the robot box works

The cube sits in the robot's body, and there is a removable window at the front. Take the window off to put the cube in or take it out. Once the window is back on, the cube stays inside and remains visible from the outside. The robot's arms and legs move up and down, so you can give the figure a simple pose. You can stack several of these boxes on top of each other to build a tower or a whole scene. This kind of display is most popular with people who own several cubes.

4x4/5x5 version vs. 2x2/3x3 version

The box is made by MoYu, which also sells the MeiLong 2M, 3M, 4M and 5M together with this kind of robot. It comes in two sizes. This box is the larger one and fits 4x4 and 5x5 cubes. The smaller version is designed for 2x2 and 3x3, so a 3x3 cube will be too loose in this box. Cubes of standard size, such as the popular MeiLong 4M and 5M, should fit without any problem. If you have a 5x5 that is noticeably larger, it is best to check whether it will fit before buying.

Who is it for?

The box is a good choice if you want to keep your cube in something more interesting than ordinary cardboard packaging. It also works well as a gift add-on, for example together with a child's first 4x4 or 5x5 cube, because a robot with movable limbs can appeal even to people who don't solve cubes themselves. This is a display box, not a hard case for carrying in your backpack to competitions. For protection in transport, a regular cube box or a pouch is a better choice.
