Distributors outside Poland also sell this product as MoYu Building Blocks. There is no mechanism and no algorithms here. You get blocks that snap together with a clear click and can be quickly pulled apart and rebuilt. They are nice to look at, and even nicer to turn in your fingers at your desk.

How it works

Each block has magnets inside. According to the manufacturer, they attract on all sides, so you don't have to worry about polarity or which face you put against another block. The connection is strong enough that small builds don't fall apart. The blocks have smooth, rounded edges and semi-gloss plastic. The faces are covered with fluorescent stickers that glow in the dark after being exposed to light. Distributors also mention a fidget spinner-like mode, where you rotate connected blocks against each other.

What to build with 9 blocks

Nine pieces are enough for a flat 3x3 face, a 2x2x2 cube with one block to spare, a letter, a simple figure or a chain you can bend in your hand. This is the smallest set in the series. MoYu has also released versions with 27 blocks (a full 3x3x3) and 64 blocks (4x4x4), which allow bigger builds. The nine-block set works well as a desk fidget or as a way to find out whether this kind of play suits you at all.
