Picube RS3M 2020 Core Magnet is the popular budget MoYu RS3M 2020 cube, modified by Picube. The regular RS3M 2020 only has magnets between the pieces. In this version, Picube has added magnets in the core that attract the corners. The modification uses Picube's own 3D-printed core parts and magnet holders in the pieces. So you get a well-known 3x3 mechanism with extra core magnets, ready to solve straight out of the box, with no need to assemble a kit yourself.

What the core magnets change

The core magnets hold the layers in place and help them settle after each move. This makes the cube more stable and gives you more control than the standard RS3M 2020, which has a rather light, loose feel. Users rate the strength of the core and corner magnets as medium. According to them, this version no longer needs the magnet upgrade that is typical for the RS3M. These are opinions from reviews, not a measured parameter.
