The Elite is not just another version of the standard M Pro. It has a different piece design, a 56 mm size and a tensioning system carried over from the QiYi Tornado V3. How it turns

The most praised feature is its good corner cutting for this price range. Reviewers rate the Elite as a solid budget cube, but nothing spectacular. If you've already had the M Pro Ball-Core or the M Pro V2 Pioneer, you'll usually notice that the Elite is simpler. It has no core magnets and no MagLev, so it runs on classic springs. This gives it a more traditional feel than the versions with repelling magnets.

UV coating

The Elite UV has a glossy UV coating that gives your fingers a better grip than matte plastic. It also protects the surface from scratches. Only the finish is different; the mechanism is the same as in the regular Elite. Choosing between them mainly comes down to which surface you prefer in your hands.

Adjustment

Tensioning works the same way as in the Tornado V3. Spring compression can be set to 7 levels, so you can tune the cube more for speed or more for control. The standard M Pro, MagLev and Ball-Core have dual adjustment with 11 settings, so they offer a wider adjustment range than the Elite.
