Some shops sell it as the ShengShou Legend Metallic 2x2.

How it turns

This is a simple 2x2 cube with no magnets and no tension adjustment. Turning is fairly calm and controllable, without the distinct "click" you know from magnetic cubes. The layers don't snap into place on their own, so you need to turn more precisely when solving faster. Corner cutting is limited. According to user reviews, the base Legend 2x2 tends to lock up when turned imprecisely. That's no problem for learning your first methods or for relaxed solving. For fast, timed solving, a magnetic cube is a better choice.

Metallic coating
