The magnetic version of the 12x12 cube from ShengShou's MoSheng series. It has a compact 91 mm side length, and magnets in the pieces help align the layers and reduce lockups. Available in stickerless bright.

SengSo MoSheng 12x12 M is the magnetic version of the 12x12 cube from ShengShou's MoSheng series. It measures just 91 mm per side, so it is noticeably smaller than the older ShengShou 12x12. With this many layers, that really matters: the cube is easier to hold in your hands, and you can solve it for longer without getting tired. The model comes in stickerless bright, with no stickers that could wear off or peel.
The most common problem with high-layer cubes is layer alignment. If just one of the twelve layers is slightly misaligned, the next move ends in a lockup or even a pop. In the M version, magnets in the pieces help the layers snap into place, and every turn ends with a noticeable "click". Users of the non-magnetic version reported that the layers sometimes don't line up precisely and occasional pops happen. The magnetic version is designed to solve exactly this problem. Full reviews of the M version are not available yet, as the model has only recently been released.
According to the manufacturer and distributors, turning is light and smooth for a cube of this size, and the matte surface offers good grip during long sessions. Keep in mind, though, that this is still a 12x12. A solve takes a long time, and turning requires more attention than on a 3x3 or 5x5.
The MoSheng 12x12 is also available without magnets. That version is cheaper and works well if you simply want a 12x12 in your collection and solve it from time to time. Choose the M version if you plan to solve regularly and want more stability, with layers that misalign less often.
For cubers who already know the reduction method from smaller cubes (e.g. 6x6 or 7x7) and want to move up to a bigger size. The cube is also a great addition to a collection of high-order puzzles. It is a poor choice as a first cube, including for a child: because of its size and solving time, it is better to start with a 3x3 and then move on to a 4x4 and 5x5.
