How it turns

For its price, the RuiSu turns fast. The turning is clean, with a slightly crunchy feel. Reviewers compare it to older MoYu 4x4s, such as the first AoSu. Straight out of the box the cube is fairly tight, and the feel is similar to the YJ RuiLong 3x3. That's why it's worth loosening it a little and breaking it in before you judge it.

There are no magnets, so the layers don't snap into place on their own like they do on magnetic cubes. You need to turn a bit more precisely, but in return you can clearly see how the mechanism works. Corner cutting is good enough for learning. Reviews are mixed on this point, so don't expect the performance of today's flagship 4x4s. If the tension is set too loose, popping can occur, so it's better to loosen the screws gradually.

Tension adjustment
