YJ WuXiong Mat is a speedcubing mat measuring 550 x 300 mm. It has room for a timer and space to solve. At about 3 mm thick, it lies flat on your desk and takes up little space in a drawer or backpack. The series stands out with its hand-drawn artwork. It comes in three designs: Flame, Galaxy and Rock.

What is a cube mat for?

When you practice with a timer, you put the cube down quickly, often with some momentum, right after stopping the time. On a bare desk this can easily lead to scratches on the cube, popping pieces or just noise. The soft surface of the mat cushions the impact and protects both your cube and the table. The mat also gives you a fixed practice spot: the timer always stands in the same place, and the cube lands next to it on the same surface.

Dimensions and timer compatibility

The mat is longer than rectangular pads made for the timer alone, so there is plenty of room for your cube next to the timer. It fits the YJ Timer. The mat has no stitched edges and has rounded corners, so your hands and wrists won't catch on any seams.
