The second generation of the magnetic Little Magic, one of YuXin's best-known budget cubes. YuXin Little Magic 3x3 M V2 is a magnetic cube released in 2021. The most important change compared to previous versions is the adjustment system: in addition to the classic screws, it has a 12-step spring tension system. The magnets are of medium strength, and the cube is allowed in official competitions.

How it turns

The Little Magic M V2 is fast and stable at the same time, which is not a given for a cube in this price range. The medium-strength magnets clearly help you align the layers without slowing down turning. The contact surfaces of the pieces have a brick texture, and the pieces are slightly rounded, which is meant to improve corner cutting.

User reviews are mostly positive. People praise its speed, stability and the fact that the cube practically doesn't pop. Some users point out catching and a slightly sandy feeling right out of the box. Lubing the cube and adjusting the settings usually helps a lot here, so this cube gains a lot from a short setup.

Adjustment

V2 M or V2 M UV?

YuXin also makes a V2 M UV version with a glossy UV coating that gives a stronger grip. This version has no UV coating. So the choice mainly depends on what kind of cube surface you prefer in your hands.

Who is it for?

A good choice for a first magnetic cube: for anyone who wants a cube that turns smoothly right from the start, and for parents looking for something better than an ordinary cube for their child without buying a flagship right away. The adjustment will come in handy later, once the cuber knows whether they prefer a fast or a more controllable setup. Experienced speedcubers can buy it as an inexpensive backup cube. However, it differs from top models in its mechanism and adjustment range, as it lacks features such as MagLev or Ball-Core.

    Nie wiem co o niej myśleć, może to kwestia gustu? Tańszy RS3 2020 wydaje się być klasę wyżej od niej, ale on w ogóle jest wyjątkowy.
