YuXin Little Magic 6x6x6 is a light (approx. 166 g), non-magnetic 65 mm 6x6 cube in a stickerless bright version. It turns smoothly, resists popping well and has screw-based tension adjustment. A great choice as an affordable first 6x6 cube.
YuXin Little Magic 6x6x6 is a budget non-magnetic 6x6 cube released in 2018. The Little Magic series has long had a reputation for cheap cubes that perform better than their price suggests, and this model lives up to it. It measures 65 mm, weighs about 166 g and comes in a stickerless bright version, meaning it uses coloured plastic instead of stickers.
The cube is light and turns smoothly. According to reviews, the outer layers turn slightly lighter than the inner ones, which helps you control the middle layers on a big cube. Users praise its resistance to popping, even when turning more aggressively.
There are a few things to keep in mind, though. Out of the box the cube can be tight and dry, so you will only see what it can really do after lubing it and adjusting the tension. Without magnets the layers misalign more easily, which can cause lockups, especially during centre and edge reduction. If the tension is set too loose, the centres can wobble, so it's better to keep a 6x6 on fairly tight tension.
Tension is set with adjustment screws. It's worth spending a moment on setup: tighten or loosen the screws slightly and add silicone lube. With this cube, a setup like that usually makes a big difference in how smoothly it turns.
The series also includes a later Little Magic 6x6 M version with factory-installed magnets. It is noticeably heavier (approx. 185 g) and keeps the layers aligned better, which reduces lockups during faster turning. The standard version described here is lighter and gives a looser feel without magnetic resistance. Some cubers prefer exactly this character on big cubes.
This cube is a good fit if you can already solve a 4x4 or 5x5 and want to try a 6x6 without spending a lot. It also works well as a backup cube or for learning reduction and parity. A speedcuber aiming for fast times who doesn't want to fight lockups will probably do better with a magnetic 6x6.

Polecam wszystkim początkującym i średnio zaawansowamym
