YuXin Little Magic Pyraminx

YuXin Little Magic Pyraminx is YuXin's first-ever pyraminx and part of the budget Little Magic series. This version has no magnets. Its size and weight are similar to more expensive models, and the mechanism includes a few features you don't usually find in pyraminxes this cheap. It works well as your first pyraminx for learning and your first timed solves.

How it turns

The puzzle turns fast and smooth. After each move you can hear and feel a light click, which comes from the ball-bearing stabilization. It helps the layers line up without slowing down your turning. The inner parts of the centers have grooves that make moves smoother. The tips turn with noticeable resistance and a distinct click. Some cubers find it too strong out of the box and file down the parts that cause it. According to reviewers, corner cutting is average, so lockups and catching can happen when turning aggressively. If a new puzzle feels stiff, it is usually enough to break it in and lube it.

Little Magic or Little Magic M?

The same series also includes the magnetic Little Magic Pyraminx M. It is a separate model with magnets, which makes it more stable and better at lining up layers. If you are just starting out or simply want an inexpensive way to see whether you like the pyraminx, the non-magnetic version is more than enough. If results are your main priority, it is better to go straight for a magnetic pyraminx.

Who is it for?

For beginners, kids and anyone who wants to try the pyraminx on a budget. The instructions included in the set will help you solve it for the first time. It is also a good spare pyraminx for your bag or school. Speedcubers aiming for their best times usually choose magnetic models.

Stosunek ceny do jakości absolutnie fenomenalny.
