Z-Cube CFOP Card PVC: F2L, OLL and PLL algorithms always at hand

Z-Cube CFOP Card PVC is a set of three plastic algorithm cards for the CFOP method on the 3x3 cube. Each card covers one stage: F2L, OLL and PLL. The cards are double-sided, with print on both sides. They are roughly the size of a payment card, so they fit in your wallet, your cube case or a backpack pocket.

What's on the cards

• F2L: cases for inserting corner-edge pairs into the first two layers.
• OLL: orientation of the last layer, i.e. the algorithms that make the whole top face one colour.
• PLL: permutation of the last layer, the final step that finishes the solve.

Each case has a diagram and an algorithm written in standard notation (R, U, F, etc.). The cards come in different colours, so it's easy to tell which one covers which stage.

How to use them

The set is most useful if you can already solve the cube with the layer-by-layer method and are moving on to CFOP, or are learning full OLL and PLL. Instead of keeping a tutorial open on your phone, you have the card right next to your cube and can check a case while you practise. It's also handy for reviewing a few algorithms while travelling or at a competition, between rounds.

The cards don't teach the method from scratch. They assume you know the notation and understand the individual CFOP stages. This is a cheat sheet, not a guide for someone picking up a cube for the first time.

A few honest notes

The cards show one algorithm per case. Some users point out that not all of them are the most comfortable to execute. More advanced cubers often swap some algorithms for others that better suit their fingertricks anyway. The algorithms are written for right-handed solvers. The print is small, because there's no other way with such a compact format. On the other hand, the cards are made of thick PVC rather than paper, so they won't crease in your pocket or wear out as quickly as a printout.
