Calvin's Puzzle Four-Leaf-Clover PLUS with 4-Color Sticker is a version of the well-known Clover Cube Plus puzzle with a different sticker scheme. The mechanism stays the same, only the colour layout is different. The cube has a black body and stickers in four colours instead of the standard six, so you will need to learn a new way of recognising the solved state and tracking the pieces.

How the Clover Cube Plus works

The Clover Cube is a Curvy Copter variant designed by Yukang Wu. It has deeper cuts than the Curvy Copter and no separate corners. The faces turn around the edges, and after certain moves the cube changes its shape, which makes it a shape-shifter. That is why our shop lists it among shape-shifting puzzles.

The PLUS suffix means extra cuts that let you turn the faces like on a regular 2x2 cube in addition to the edge turns. Combining these two types of moves makes the Clover Plus much harder than the basic Clover.

The 4-Color version: how it differs from the others

This Calvin's Puzzle design comes in several sticker versions: 4-, 6- and 8-colour, as well as the standard Clovers without the Mod label. The mechanism is the same in all versions. The Clover Plus mechanism consists of many small pieces. Customers who bought the base version report that the cube can pop apart if turned carelessly, and putting it back together takes patience. So it is worth turning it calmly and precisely rather than forcing the moves.
