GAN Center Caps set (Carry 2 Frosted)

This is an original GAN set of six center caps for the GAN356 i Carry 2 Frosted smart cube. The set includes all six face colors in the stickerless bright color scheme: white with the GAN logo, yellow, orange, blue, red and green. The caps are matte, just like the surface of the cube.

What are the new center caps for?

People usually buy this set for one of two reasons:

• GAN Robot V2 compatibility. According to GAN, all smart cubes made after July 2024 already come with caps compatible with the second generation of the robot. This set is mainly useful if you have an older cube and want to use it with Robot V2. No replacement is needed for the first-generation robot.
• A lost or damaged cap. On the GAN356 i Carry 2, you can remove the caps without tools, for example to adjust tensioning or compression. If you take them off often, it is easy to lose or scratch one. This set lets you restore your cube's complete look.

Installation

Simply press the caps on and they hold securely on the centers. On the GAN356 i Carry 2, each center has a colored piece under the cap that indicates the face color. The smart cube needs to know which face is which, so always put each cap on the center of the same color. Otherwise, the app will read colors that don't match what you see.

Frosted or UV?

GAN makes separate cap sets for both versions of the GAN356 i Carry 2. This one is for the Frosted (matte) version. There is a separate set for the cube with a glossy UV coating. Before you buy, check which finish your cube has so the caps match the rest of the surface.
