GAN Center Caps set (i3/Carry)

GAN Center Caps set (i3/Carry) is a set of original center caps for the GAN 356 i3 and GAN 356 i Carry smart cubes. The caps come in the Stickerless Bright colour scheme, the standard face colours of stickerless GAN cubes. They come in handy when a cap gets lost, cracks while you remove it or becomes visibly worn.

What center caps are for

On GAN smart cubes, the cap covers the screw and the tension adjustment part in each center. To change the tensioning on the i Carry, you need to remove the cap, adjust or replace the tension nut and put the cap back on. If you set up your cube often, you take the caps off many times, so it's easy to lose one or damage its clips. The cube still turns without a cap, but a center with an exposed mechanism looks worse and is harder to grip with your finger.

Caps for GAN smart cubes differ between models and generations. Newer cubes, e.g. the i Carry 2 in the Matte or UV version or the i Carry 4, have their own caps. Before you order, check the exact model name on the box or in the GAN app.

Fitting tip

Before pressing it in, place the cap flat on the center so that the clips line up with their slots. A cap pressed in at an angle may not hold properly or may get damaged. To remove it, a finger or fingernail is enough, no tools needed. This way you won't scratch the plastic.
