MF8 Crazy Curvy Megaminx

MF8 Crazy Curvy Megaminx

MF8 Crazy Curvy Megaminx is a Megaminx modification from MF8, a manufacturer known for its unusual puzzles. It has the shape of a dodecahedron, but it solves differently from a classic Megaminx. This puzzle is for those who already know the standard Megaminx and want something more challenging. We offer it in the black version (Black).

What is the MF8 Crazy series?

In the Crazy series puzzles, MF8 adds extra pieces to the regular mechanism, usually rings around the centers. That's why methods for a regular Megaminx need to be adapted here, and some steps you'll have to work out on your own. The Crazy Curvy Megaminx is sold as a fully functional version, meaning it is designed for actual solving, not just for display on a shelf.

How does it turn?

According to sellers' descriptions, the puzzle turns smoothly and can be solved without fighting the mechanism. However, it is not a puzzle for timed speedcubing. What matters here is understanding how the pieces move, not a high TPS. It's best to approach it calmly and solve it step by step, testing how the extra pieces behave.

Who is it for?

For cubers who can already solve a regular Megaminx and are looking for a new challenge, and for collectors of unusual puzzles. It also has an interesting look that works well in a collection. For your first Megaminx, it's better to choose a standard model, because without knowing the classic version it's easy to get discouraged.
