MoYu Cyberpunk Mat Small

MoYu Cyberpunk Mat Small is the smallest version of the speedcubing mat from the Cyberpunk series. It measures 30 x 25 cm and is approx. 2 mm thick. The graphic shows a grey and orange mechanical background with a MoYu 3x3 cube. The mat is just a pad for your cube and has no timer mount.

What a small mat is good for

A cube placed on the mat doesn't slide around or knock against the desk. It's also easier to pick up after inspection, because it isn't lying flat on a smooth table. The 30 x 25 cm format is enough for one cube and your hands while solving. The mat will fit on a cluttered desk, a school desk or a small table. It weighs approx. 114 g, so you can simply toss it into your backpack together with your cubes.

Small, Medium or Large?

MoYu makes the Cyberpunk mat in three sizes, and each one suits a different purpose:

• Small: a compact 30 x 25 cm mat without timer holes. It's slightly narrower than the MoYu timer, so the two can't be combined into one set.
• Medium and Large: larger mats with holes for mounting the MoYu timer. They have enough room for both the cube and the timer, just like when training for competitions.

If you time your solves on a timer and want to keep it permanently on the mat, choose a larger size. The Small version works well for practising algorithms and casual solving, and for those who time their solves with a phone or computer app.

Who is it for?

For cubers who have little space or often solve away from home. It's also an affordable accessory for a first cube when a child is just starting out with solving and doesn't need a timer yet. A speedcuber training with a timer will get more out of the Medium or Large version.
