MoYu MeiLong WCA 2-5 Cubes Bundle

Four cubes from MoYu's budget MeiLong series in one box: 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5. The MoYu MeiLong WCA 2-5 Cubes Bundle includes every cube from 2x2 to 5x5, which covers four events held at WCA competitions. That's where the bundle gets its name. The cubes come in the stickerless bright version. They have no stickers, and the faces are made of brightly coloured plastic.

Why a bundle instead of a single cube

Most people start with the 3x3. Then they usually move on to the 2x2, where some of the algorithms they already know come in handy, and after that to the 4x4 and 5x5. On bigger cubes you also need to solve the centres and pair the edges, and the 4x4 adds parity cases too. With this bundle you get all these sizes at once, so you don't have to buy another cube every time you want to try something new.

Stickerless cubes hold up well to heavy use, because there is nothing to peel off or wear away. With kids there's an extra bonus: nobody can "solve" the cube by moving the stickers around.

What to expect

MeiLong is MoYu's more affordable line, designed mainly for learning. These cubes don't have the features of the flagship models, such as MagLev, Ball-Core or an advanced adjustment system. Instead, they let you learn the methods for each size at your own pace before you decide whether to invest in a more expensive cube for a specific event.

Who is it for?

Mainly for beginners and for parents who want to give their child a full set of cubes as a gift instead of just one. The bundle is also a good fit if you can already solve the 3x3 and want to try other sizes without spending a lot of money. A speedcuber training for competitions will probably choose a specific higher-end model for their main event. However, MeiLong cubes can still serve them as backups or for learning a size they don't solve yet.
