The best-equipped version of the Super RS3M V2: MagLev instead of springs, a magnetic Ball-Core, 88 magnets and a UV coating. The cube has a stable, controllable feel and 9 dual-adjustment settings, and at 55.5 mm it makes a great next step after your first magnetic cube.

The RS3 series has been MoYu's budget line for years, but the MoYu Super RS3M V2 UV Ball-Core 3x3 comes with a set of technologies you would normally associate with more expensive cubes: MagLev instead of springs, a magnetic Ball-Core and a glossy UV coating. It is the best-equipped of the three Super RS3M V2 versions. In terms of performance it is a mid-range cube: stronger than the first Super RS3M, but not on the level of current flagships.
Turning is fast, tactile and fairly "clean", because in the V2 MoYu smoothed the insides of the pieces and simplified their shape. The cube is firm and controllable, so it is closer to a stable training tool than to a very loose, nimble cube. In comparison tests, the Ball-Core version came out as the most stable of the whole series. Some people describe it as slightly blocky. Corner cutting is decent, but weaker than on the WeiLong V9, so expect some lockups if your turning is imprecise. Out of the box the cube can be loose, and you will usually need to tighten it by a few clicks.
All three Super RS3M V2 versions have a UV coating and the same size. The standard version has springs and the narrowest adjustment range. The MagLev version is snappier, but the least stable. The Ball-Core adds magnets in the core, so it offers the most stability, at the cost of a slightly blocky feel. If the Ball-Core feels too "controlled" for you, the standard version is a sensible alternative.
For someone moving up from their first magnetic cube who wants to try MagLev and Ball-Core without buying a flagship. It also works well as a stable training cube for anyone who prefers control over maximum speed. An advanced speedcuber who cares about strong corner cutting will probably choose a higher-end model.

Moja pierwsza dobra kostka. Trudno było ją skonfigurować ale bardzo warto. Ustawienia:
Angstrom Gravitas + Lubest XMT 10, najmniejsze ustawienie maglev, i śruby zakręcone do niebieskiego plastiku. Gravitas potrzebuje bardzo długiego break inu, na początku będzie sztywny.
