QiYi Warrior 3x3 M UV is the magnetic version of one of QiYi's most popular budget cubes, with a glossy UV coating. The Warrior series has been a go-to first cube for years, and the M version, released in 2025, adds small magnets in the corners and edges. They help the layers settle into place with a noticeable "click," so solving feels more controlled than on a non-magnetic cube. We offer it in the stickerless bright colour scheme: the plastic itself comes in the face colours, so there are no stickers to wear off.

How it turns

The cube is very light (59 g), so it turns effortlessly, and reviews often describe it as fast. The magnets are rather weak, which users point out as well. They help align the layers, but they don't give the strong, stable feel of more expensive magnetic cubes. Corner cutting is good enough for learning and casual solving, but with more aggressive turning it can catch.

Some units arrive fairly dry and may feel slightly sandy. A few drops of lube and a short break-in are enough to make the cube turn noticeably smoother.

UV or matte M version?

The Warrior M comes in two versions with the same mechanism. The regular M version has matte plastic with medium grip. The M UV version has a glossy coating that grips your fingers better and slips less when your hands get sweaty. It also looks more striking. It mainly comes down to which surface you prefer in your hands.

Adjustment

The cube has no tension or compression adjustment, and the magnet strength can't be changed either. It works the way it comes from the factory. For a beginner, that's more of an advantage, as there's nothing to set up. If you want to fine-tune your cube, choose a model with an adjustment system.

Who is it for?

A great first magnetic cube for anyone learning to solve the 3x3, including kids. It also works well as a backup cube to carry in your backpack or for practice when you don't want to wear out your main. A speedcuber looking for strong magnets and plenty of control at high TPS will likely need a higher-end model.
