YuXin Little Magic Megaminx V3 is a budget magnetic megaminx from the Little Magic series, which has been one of the most popular choices for a first dodecahedron puzzle for years. The third generation came out in late 2021 as the successor to the non-magnetic V2. Some international shops also sell it as the V3 M. We stock it in the stickerless bright version, with colored plastic and one grey face.

What changed compared to the V2

The biggest difference is the magnets. The V2 had none, while on the V3 the layers clearly snap into place. This matters a lot on a megaminx: with twelve faces and no magnets, it's easy to leave a layer slightly misaligned and block your next move. The pieces also have a raised, sculpted texture on their edges. The matte plastic offers medium grip and won't slip in your fingers.
