GAN 11 M 3x3x3

GAN 11 M 3x3x3 is the most basic magnetic version of the GAN 11 series. It has the same body and GES adjustment system as the more expensive 11 M Pro and 11 M Duo models. The difference is in the magnets. This cube has only classic magnets between the corners and edges, and their strength cannot be adjusted. There are no magnets in the corner feet, so it lacks the corner-core system the 11 M Pro and 11 M Duo are known for.

How it differs from the 11 M Pro and 11 M Duo

In the 11 M Pro and 11 M Duo, additional magnets connect the core with the corners. This setup stabilizes the cube and gives it a different, more "together" feel. The GAN 11 M works like a traditional magnetic cube. Without magnets in the core it is lighter, weighing about 56 g, which is less than the Duo (59 g) and the Pro (63 g). The mechanism and turning are very similar to the 11 M Pro, but not identical. If you mainly want to experience the feel of corner-core magnets, choose the Duo or the Pro.

How it turns

Users describe the 11 M as a fast cube with crisp turning that cuts corners in practically every situation. The most common remark concerns stability: without core magnets, the cube is sometimes perceived as slightly less stable than the 11 M Pro. If you like a very controllable setup, you may need tighter tension or a thicker lube. The magnet strength is set at the factory, so keep that in mind if you have clear preferences about magnets.

GES v5 adjustment

Settings are handled by the GES v5 system (described in GAN materials as GES Pro). The set includes two sets of nuts that change the distance from the core, i.e. center travel:

• light blue, factory-installed: positions 1 (0.6 mm) and 3 (0.8 mm),
• dark blue: positions 2 (0.7 mm) and 4 (0.9 mm).

On top of that, you can adjust spring tension with the included key. No screws and no risk of uneven layer settings.

Who is it for?

For anyone who wants a GAN cube with GES adjustment from a proven series, but doesn't need corner-core magnets or magnet strength adjustment. It's also a sensible choice for your first good magnetic cube: light, fast and legal for official competitions.
