GAN i4 Leap Frosted

GAN i4 Leap Frosted is a 3x3 smart cube with the same electronics as the MagLev versions, but its mechanism runs on classic springs. The cube connects via Bluetooth to the Cube Station app and records every solve: time, TPS, smoothness and move reconstruction. The Frosted version has matte plastic without a UV coating and comes in a stickerless bright colour scheme.

Leap or MagLev?

All i4 versions share the same smart platform: the same sensor system, gyroscope and app connectivity. What sets them apart is the mechanism. In the MagLev versions, the springs are replaced with repelling magnets, which gives lighter and faster turning. Leap sticks with the springs of the GES Pro+ system. This makes turns more predictable, with a distinct "click", and the cube is usually easier to control. It's a good choice if you prefer the classic feel of springs or want to get into the i4 series with its more affordable version. The magnet strength in the i4 cannot be changed. GES Pro+ adjustment, however, gives you 6 axis distance levels and 12 tension levels, for 72 combinations in total.

Electronics and battery

• Contactless move tracking: magnetic (Hall effect) sensors register turns without physical contact, so the cube doesn't miss moves even at very high TPS.
• 360° gyroscope: tracks the cube's orientation in real time, so the app shows a full reconstruction of your solve, including rotations.
• Two power modes: up to approx. 30 hours of use in Performance mode (with the gyroscope) and up to 200 hours in power-saving mode (without the gyroscope).
• Fast charging: the cube charges in the GanPod station via USB-C, and 10 minutes of charging is enough for approx. 10 hours of solving.
• Coloured core: the colours on the spherical core make it easier to reassemble the cube correctly after taking it apart, so the app can still read its state properly.

Cube Station app

The app collects statistics, helps you learn algorithms and lets you compete online with other cubers. If you want to understand where you're losing time, detailed data from every solve is more useful than just the result on a timer.

Frosted finish

The matte surface offers medium grip, doesn't pick up fingerprints and sits securely in your hand during fast solves. At approx. 74 g, the cube is light and won't tire your hands even during long sessions.
