MoYu Meilong Boomerang Pyramid

The MoYu Meilong Boomerang Pyramid is a pyramid-shaped puzzle from the budget Meilong line. It is made by MoFangJiaoShi, also known as MoYu Cubing Classroom. The model belongs to MoYu's series of pyramid puzzles (trigonal), which also includes the Corner-twist, Bead, Maple Leaf, Windmill and Triangle Pyramid. Each of them has differently shaped pieces. In the Boomerang version, the cuts resemble a boomerang, which gave the puzzle its name.

What is this pyramid?

It's a shape mod puzzle, not just another speedcube. What makes it interesting is the unusual cut and the fact that after a few moves you have to recognise pieces by their shape, not only by their colour. Puzzles like this are usually bought for a collection, as a change of pace from the 3x3, or for someone who enjoys figuring out new mechanisms. It is not a WCA event, so competition times don't come into play here.

Macaron version

The available variant is Macaron: stickerless, in light pastel plastic colours. There are no stickers that could wear off or peel, so the puzzle holds up well to frequent use, even in a child's hands.
