MoYu WeiLong WRM V10 AI Gyroscope 3x3x3

A smart cube built on the mechanism of the WeiLong WRM V10, which was MoYu's flagship 3x3 in 2024. The MoYu WeiLong WRM V10 AI Gyroscope connects to an app via Bluetooth and sends your moves to your phone in real time. The built-in gyroscope also records how you rotate the whole cube in your hands. This is the standard version with a matte (frosted) surface, without UV coating and without MagLev, in the stickerless bright colour scheme.

What the electronics and gyroscope give you

A regular smart cube only detects layer turns. The gyroscope adds information about whole-cube rotations, so the virtual model in the app rotates together with your cube. This is useful for solve reconstructions and for spotting where you lose time on unnecessary rotations. The app lets you track your results, train and solve online with other cubers. According to the manufacturer, the battery lasts about 30 hours of use.

How it turns

The mechanism comes from the WeiLong V10, so corner cutting is on a similar level to the version without electronics. The cube has a Ball-Core with magnets between the corners and the core, and 76 magnets in total. Thanks to this, the layers settle into place on their own and the cube stays more stable during fast turning. Users describe the feel as smooth but slightly stiffer, very similar to the regular V10. Some also say the magnets are a little weaker than in the non-AI V10. If you like very strong magnets, keep this in mind.

Adjustment

Spring tension can be set to 8 levels, so you can set the cube up more for speed or more for control.

Standard, UV or MagLev?

The V10 AI series comes in several versions: the lighter Lite, the standard (frosted), UV, and UV with MagLev. The MagLev version uses repelling magnets instead of springs and usually gives faster, lighter turning. The UV coating is glossy and gives better grip. The standard version has classic springs and matte plastic, so it suits those who prefer a more predictable, controllable feel.

Who is it for?

For cubers who want to train with an app, analyse their solves or solve online, while still having a cube they can properly use for timed solves. For beginners, it's a good first cube if the app will motivate them to practise. If you don't need the electronics, a regular magnetic 3x3 will do.
