MoYu WeiLong WRM V10 AI Gyroscope UV 3x3x3

A smart cube based on the WeiLong WRM V10. The MoYu WeiLong WRM V10 AI Gyroscope UV connects to your phone or computer via Bluetooth and sends every move in real time. This lets the app time your solves, count your moves and replay your solutions. The built-in gyroscope also tracks how you rotate the whole cube in your hands. This version has a UV coating, a magnetic core and classic springs (no MagLev). It comes in the stickerless bright colour scheme.

How it turns

The electronics sit inside, but on the outside it is still a WeiLong V10: the same body, 55.5 mm, and the excellent corner cutting this model is known for. Users describe the feel as smooth and slightly "tight", very similar to the regular V10. Magnets in the pieces and in the core help the layers snap into place and keep the cube stable during faster turning. According to some reviews, the magnets are a bit weaker than in the V10 without electronics. If you like a strong "click", keep this in mind.

App and gyroscope

The manufacturer supports the WCU Cube app for iOS and Android. It offers training, statistics and online games. To be honest, the app has poor reviews: some text remains in Chinese, and reconstructions and gyroscope readings are not always accurate. That is why many cubers use the cube with third-party tools such as Cubeast. The cube's mechanism is rated clearly better than the software.

UV, MagLev or Lite?

The V10 AI series comes in several versions. The Lite has no magnetic core or charging case, but it has matte plastic and longer battery life. The UV version has a glossy coating with stronger grip, a magnetic core and springs. The MagLev UV version uses repelling magnets instead of springs, which gives lighter and faster turning. The UV version is a sensible middle ground if you want full functionality without MagLev.

Who is it for?

For anyone who wants to analyse their solves (move count, reconstructions, turning speed) and at the same time have a solid cube for daily practice. If you don't need smart features, you can get the regular WeiLong WRM V10 for less money.
